The Inventory Disputes page allows you to:
- View Active Disputes: See all inventory discrepancies that have been identified during delivery receipt.
- Search Disputes: Use the search bar to find specific disputes by PO number, supplier name, or other details.
- Resolve Disputes: Update dispute records, including settlement status, compensation, and notes.
- Preview Dispute Details: View detailed information about the disputed items and associated purchase orders.
Resolving Disputes
To manage and resolve disputes effectively, follow these steps:
Steps to Resolve a Dispute:
Locate the Dispute: In the Inventory Disputes page, find the dispute you wish to resolve.
Click the Resolve Button: Click the Resolve button next to the dispute.
Open Dispute Resolution Modal: A modal window will appear, allowing you to update the dispute details.
Update Dispute Settlement Status:
- Click on the Dispute Settlement Status dropdown.
- Select the appropriate status (e.g., "Resolved", "Escalated").
Settlement Date:
- In the Date Settled field, select the date when the dispute was resolved.
- Use the date picker to choose the correct date.
Enter Compensation Amount (if applicable):
- In the Compensation field, enter the monetary compensation agreed upon with the supplier.
Add Notes:
- In the Note section, add any relevant information or comments about the resolution process.
Escalate to Head Office (if necessary):
- If the dispute needs to be escalated, check the Escalated to Head Office checkbox.
- This indicates that higher-level management is involved in resolving the dispute.
Confirm Updates:
- Click the Update button to save the changes.
- The dispute record will be updated accordingly.
Review Updated Status:
- The dispute's status in the table will reflect the changes.
- Ensure that the dispute is now marked appropriately.
Previewing Disputes
You can view detailed information about each dispute, including the items involved and the nature of the discrepancy.
Steps to Preview a Dispute:
Locate the Dispute: Find the dispute you wish to preview in the Inventory Disputes list.
Click the Preview Icon:
- In the Preview column, click the preview icon next to the dispute.
- A modal window will open displaying detailed information.
Review Dispute Details:
- PO Number: Confirm the purchase order number.
- Supplier Information: View the supplier's name and address.
- Site Information: See the site where the dispute originated.
- Disputed Items: Review the list of items involved in the dispute, including SKU, Name, Category, Ordered Quantity, Received Quantity, and Price details.
- Dispute Amounts: Check the total dispute amount and individual item discrepancies.
Close the Preview:
- After reviewing, click the Close button to exit the modal.

The table displays detailed information for each dispute:

- Use the Search bar to quickly locate specific disputes by entering keywords such as PO number, supplier name, or site name.
- The search function filters the disputes list in real-time based on the entered keyword.
