Adding Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers offer a flexible way to enhance customer experience and drive sales. In the Epos system, gift vouchers can be applied to:
- Specific Products: Restrict the voucher to a specific item, ensuring targeted usage (e.g., a voucher for "Coffee Only").
- All Products: Allow the voucher to apply across the entire catalog for maximum flexibility.
To apply a gift voucher:
- Navigate to the Cart Panel.
- Enter the voucher name, and apply it.
- The system will deduct the voucher value from the eligible products or the total.
Applying Promotional Codes
Promotional codes enable time-limited or campaign-based discounts. Like gift vouchers, promo codes can be applied to:
- Specific Products: Limit the code to certain items for focused promotions.
- Entire Cart: Apply the discount across all products in the cart.
To apply a promo code:
- Select the Discount Option from the cart panel.
- Enter the promo code and validate it.
- The discount is automatically applied based on the configuration of the code.
Applying Custom Discounts
Custom Discounts in the Epos system can be applied at various levels:
- Item-Level Discounts:
- Discount a specific product directly from the cart.
- Options include percentage discounts (e.g., 10%) or monetary discounts (e.g., £5).
- Cart-Level Discounts:
- Apply a discount to the entire cart.
- Choose between a percentage value (e.g., 20% off) or a fixed monetary value (e.g., £10 off).
To apply discounts:
- Select the desired product or cart-level discount option in the cart panel.
- Choose between percentage or monetary discount types.
- Enter the discount value and confirm.
