Allergen Verification

The Allergen Verification system helps ensure customer safety by tracking and verifying allergen information for food and beverage items. The system provides visual indicators and enforces verification steps before completing transactions.

Product Configuration

Configure allergens for products through the Command Centre interface.

Setting Product Allergens

  1. Navigate to Pos Products in the Command Centre
  2. Select the product you want to add allergens for
  3. Go to the Additional Details step
  4. Locate the Allergen Information field
  5. Select All allergens that apply to the Product

Visual Indicators

Allergen information is clearly displayed with visual indicators to ensure staff can easily identify items containing allergens.

How It Works

  1. An allergen icon (🏵️) appears next to items containing allergens in the cart.
  2. The icon displays as soon as an item with allergens is added.
  3. Click the icon to view the specific allergens for that item.
  4. The system tracks verification status for each item containing allergens.

Verification Process

The system enforces allergen verification before completing transactions with items containing allergens.

Steps for Verification

  1. Add items containing allergens to the cart.
  2. The system prompts for allergen verification before payment or order creation.
  3. Review allergen information for each item.
  4. Confirm allergen information has been communicated to the customer.
  5. Record the verifying employee's details as part of the process.
  6. Complete the transaction.

Re-verification

If you edit a booking and add items with new allergens, you must re-verify the allergen information.


Tracking & Audit

The system automatically tracks allergen verification details for compliance and audit purposes.

Recorded Fields

The following fields can be found on the Booking Product record in SalesForce:
